Registration
Registration for the State Leadership Conference will open on Wed. January 6 and close on Wed. January 27 at 6pm CST.
Registration rates are still being finalized by the Board of Directors.
Hotel Information
A block of rooms have been reserved for the specified night(s) at the following properties on the Younes campus. Reservations can be made by calling the hotels directly and asking for the ‘Nebraska Educators Rising 2027 SLC.’ The room blocks are available until Sun. January 24, 2027. The room rates will be honored after this date, subject to availability at each property. Each property has free and ample parking as well as breakfast included in the room rate.

Guest room reservations must be canceled prior to 6:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations after this time will be billed for the first night’s room charge plus tax. The hotel check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 12:00pm (noon).
Competitive Events
Correctly registering members for competitive events is an important part of the SLC registration process. There will be a designated confirmation window during which teacher leaders must review and confirm all registered competitive event entries (participant names, event selections, etc.) or make necessary adjustments. All changes to registrations must be completed within this confirmation window. Entries that are not confirmed by teacher leaders during this window will be considered as having no changes/updates. The confirmation window will be Thurs. January 28 – Wed. February 3 at 1:00pm CST.
For events requiring the submission of pre-scored materials, teacher leaders or competitors must submit all required materials by the designated deadline. Entries that do not submit required materials by the deadline will receive a score of zero (0) for the pre-scored portion but will still be eligible to participate in the on-site component of the event without penalty. Pre-scored materials must be submitted between Thurs. February 4 – Fri. February 12 at 6:00pm CST.
